Significance of Vijaya Ekadashi

Additionally, Shri Ram was able to cross the Sea with the Vanar Sena, as a fruit of fast on Vijaya Ekadashi. He was given an idea of making ramsetu by the sea. Hence, Shri Ram crossed the ocean and defeated demon Ravana.

Remedies

As, we are having Vijaya Ekadashi on Wednesday, astrologers suggested, offer Green grapes to Lord Vishnu as bhog to get wealth, prosperity and blessings in abundance. Nonetheless, offer Sharifa (custard apple) to maa Lakshmi on this day.

Secondly, one should also offer garland made of Ashoka leaves to Lord Vishnu and mata Lakshmi on this day. You will be lucky to get bestowed with fortune and money.

Also, indulge in charity and donating green colored food items like Shrifa and grapes to the needy people.

In addition, do not forget to light a diya in front of Tulsi in the evening too.

Lastly, avoid rice, cerals, alcoholic and tamsic items for consumption. Try to involve yourself in Bhakti of Shri Vishnu all day long.
