  2. Infact, there is a legend behind the name kar-man-ghat. Once, King Kakatiya Prola II went hunting in the forest and after some time he rested under a tree. Suddenly, he heard the chanting of the Jai Shri Ram from distance. Thus, he went to look for the source of the voice, he discovered a stone idol of the lord Hanuman. This idol was in seated posture.
  3. At this, King vowed to the deity and paid his respect, he returned back to his capital. At that night, Shree Hanuman appeared in his dream and asked him to construct a temple at the same place. King did so and hence the karmanghat temple was made.
  4. Once, Aurangzeb tried to break down the temple with his army, but he could not enter the temple premises. Whenever, he tried to capture, he heard a voice from heavens saying -Mandir todna hai rajan, to kar man ghat, (meaning- If you want to break down the temple, O King, harden your heart). 8. Shri Survachala Sahithya Hanuman temple, Telangana

Location: Khamman District, Telangana

9. Hanuman Dhara, Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh

Location : Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh

Highlights : 1. Further, there is another ancient famous temple of Lord Hanuman located at the Hills of Chitrakoot.

2. Although, it is believed that Lord Hanuman felt a lot of heat in his body after burning the Lanka. Even, after the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana, Lord Hanuman felt the persistent heat in his body. On this, he urged Shri Ram to relieve from this constant heat. As a result, Lord Rama advised him to go to hills and do worship rituals.

3. As he finished 1008 Ram Raksha Strota, a spring of water came from the top of hill and fell over his body. This water made him comfortable. Since then, this water is called Hanuman dhara.

4. Indeed, there is idol of Hanuman ji and Ganesha at the temple. Also, one can find Sita ki rasoi where, Goddess Sita cooked food for Brahmins.
